Quality Management System for compliance with requirements set forth in ISO 9000 (2000 edition) has been implemented and is running in the Company. In May 2005 NLMK successfully passed the second oversight audit for compliance with requirements of International Standard ISO 9001.2000 "Quality Management System. Requirements".
The certificate covers the following areas: pig iron, slabs, carbon and low-alloyed hot-rolled steel in coils and sheets, including galvanised and pre-painted products, electrical GO and NGO steel in coils and sheets.
In July 2005 The Company successfully passed the first oversight audit for compliance with requirements of International Standard ISO/TU 16949:2002 "Technical Conditions. Quality Management System.
