NLMK is the most efficient company of the Central Russian region
Novolipetsk Iron & Steel Corporation took the first place in the Efficiency Rating among enterprises of the Central Federal District (CFD). The Rating was prepared by Rating Center of AK&M Information Agency with the support of regional office of the Federal Commission for securities of the RF. The Rating was compiled based on a company's profitability, net profit, investment attractiveness and some other parameters.
NLMK's profitability is one of the highest among the biggest Russian metallurgical enterprises and much higher than the average performance of the CFD companies. NLMK's net profit is the highest in comparison with the same parameter of all enterprises of the Central Federal District. Novolipetsk Iron & Steel Corporation is now implementing a large scale investment program and NLMK's products quality is improving.
The Rating included joint stock companies having the greatest proceeds and located in the Central Federal District. For the Rating, five finance parameters characterizing the enterprises performance efficiency were analyzed. They were calculated based on the 2000 accounts.
