NLMK rewarded with a national purse for implementationof social programs
NLMK has become a laureate of 2001 Russian National Prize on Novenber 23 in the Bolshoy Theatre in the sphere of business and business undertaking 'Biznes Olimp' in the category 'Sotzium' the purse was given to the Chairman of NLMK's Board Vladimyre Lisin.
The award in this category is given to the Company for its achievements in implementation of social programs in its region, development and introduction of new technology of work organization and social protection of the employees.
While receiving the award Vladimyre Lisin said that 'social policy is a priority to NLMK'. Despite all the numerous changes in the social sphere in Russia 'our social policy remains the same.' 'It is directed at a person and influences NLMK successes', stressed Vladimyre Lisin.
This valuable award reconfirmed NLMK's significant contribution to social and economic life of the region and successful implementation of NLMK's social programs.
The Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Russian Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs Union, Yury Luzhkov, Vagit Alekperov and Arkady Alfyorov were given the purse as well.
