NLMK extends the list of international auditors carrying out certification of its products
Yet another inspection audit has been successfully completed at NLMK. It was carried out by representatives of a well-known certification society "Germanische Lloyd" (Germany). It was directed towards NLMK's steel making process similar to the audit performed by Det Norske Veritas (Norway), which had taken place not long before.
In the process of thorough acquaintance with the Corporation's divisions independent experts monitored conformance to all established standards of slab manufacturing. According to the inspection conclusions, certification tests results, documentation, calculations and other information received positive evaluation by the auditors.
Certification papers by such respected organisations as Germanischer Lloyd, Det Norske Veritas, Lloyd Register will allow customers to use NLMK products in shipbuilding and will extend the range of their applications in future projects of Russian and foreign customers. It is especially vita; in the light of the company's active advance at domestic and foreign markets.
As far as the quality is concerned, the policy of NLMK is directed towards further expansion of competitive products delivery meeting required specifications, requirements of national and international standards as well as satisfying the customer quality, reliability and safety wise.
